Having talked to 2000+ creators who sell unique products, we realized these products & brands deserved better recognition and fame. And thus was born the online marketplace for handmade & hand-picked stuff, Scoop My Art!
How did it all start?
Our cofounder, Rasheeque, had just returned from the UK and was getting accustomed to the life of India. One day, he accompanied his sister to a flea market in Thalassery. As soon as he entered the flea, he was amazed by the number of stalls, the unique products sold there and the massive demand for such special products. He returned home, but the image of the happy crowd at the flea did not leave his mind. He called his bestie, Reshmi.
For the last 3 years, they have visited many more fleas and are running an Instagram page to interact with a larger community. They now very well understand the challenges faced on Instagram, such as the seller uploading the product image, finding customers, taking orders, tracking them and a similar dilemma faced by buyers when placing their orders. All along, they knew that Instagram could be a lovely marketing platform, but these talented folks need a dedicated platform to sell these amazing products. And thus blossomed the idea of our beloved Scoop My Art.

Rasheeque Ibnu Abdul Latheef
Cofounder & CEO
The mastermind behind the idea of Scoop My Art, Rasheeque, is the cement that holds all the building blocks together in Scoop My Art. He has left no stone unturned to change the idea into a website. Researching and developing every element on his own, planning different strategies and syncing the whole team together is pretty much what his daily routine looks like. He strongly believes in going the extra mile to make the customers happy and wants Scoop My Art to be the brand that provides India’s best customer experience.
After doing his MS in Management from Leeds University, UK, for the last 4 years, he has worked as a growth hacker and helped his clients get more leads and website conversions. One of his main hobbies is planning trips and travelling the world. Don’t be surprised to see a glimpse of different styles from around the globe in Scoop My Art.
Reshmi Menon
Cofounder & Seller Champion
She is the face of Scoop My Art for the customers and sellers and the one who makes them feel like home. She strongly believes in creating a hub for passionate and creative people and an ecosystem to buy and sell homemade and handpicked products easily. Through public relations, content creation and seller acquisition, she has spread the message of what Scoop My Art is all about and helped build a strong and engaging brand.
After completing her engineering and MBA, for the last 3 years, she has been working as a Marketing Manager at a Corporate. She loves to read books, so she walks around with her Kindle and a small diary to scribble her thoughts and short poems. Don’t be surprised if you find amazing quotes embedded in Scoop My Art posts.
